Lyrics to Jungle Bells:

Dashing through the snow
in a one horse open sleigh
Over the hills we go
laughing all the way
Bells on bop-tails ring
makings spirits bright
Ol McFarm it is to sing
a sleighing song tonight

Kyndi was asking when Kamron will be home and Oaklee got all huffy and said

"Daddy Oaming!" (Translation: Daddy is in Wyoming!)

A conversation my family (mom, dad, me, my brother, my sister) had at a restaurant yesterday before taking James to the MTC.

My mom wanted a picture of us all sitting in the booth. She wanted one of the servers to take it for us.

Dad: Sharli grab that young man when he walks back this way
Sharli: I don't wanna grab a young man
(laughter, and Sharli blushed)
Mom decided to explain to Sharli: There's more than one way to grab a guy, Sharli.
(More laughter!)
All of this was said in total innocence of course.. but as each comment was made we just laughed harder.

A few minutes later my dad got the attention of the 'young man' and asked him to take our picture. (He was too busy)

James: Dad grabbed that boy!

Hilarious!!

Today Tate and I were having a name calling match for fun, and the best insult by far was when Tate called me "A Festival of Dead Butterscotch"

Sunday, November 1, 2009

Tate and I passed a food joint today and the sign said "Voted Best Sandwich in Utah" and Tate said "That's pretty good! When I'm 18 and get a license to vote, I bet I'll probably vote for them too."

We were at my parent's house last night and my mom found a snake in the driveway and tried to pick it up... Here is Kyndi's take on the event...

"At first Gramma thought it was a rubber snake but then when she picked it up, it growled at her."

My mom did try to catch it, and it hissed and tried to strike at her... turns out it was a baby rattlesnake.
